Most of our range of Sistec and Salvus safes are certified by ECB-S, a German organization that provides the leading European certification for fire and burglary resistant safes and cabinets.
The ECB-S label stands for quality assurance with regard to security products such as regular safes, fire safes, safe rooms, data safes and safe locks. This quality-guarantee is easily recognizable by the quality mark on a clearly visible metal plate affixed to every certified safe. In the case of safes and fire safes, the metal plate is often on the inside of the door.
Testing laboratories
ECB-S certified safes have an optimal price/quality ratio. These safes stand out greatly from non-certified safes or those with unknown certificates.
ECB-S works exclusively with selected testing laboratories in Europe. Only these institutions are capable of meeting the high quality standards demanded, and thus can issue a quality mark that complies with European standards.
The ECB-S quality mark ensures that there will be not be any unpleasant surprises in cases of damage. Insurers have faith in the high quality guarantee inherent to such certified products. And insurers are increasingly demanding ECB-S certified safes.
