When will I get my money back?

You will receive a credit note from us as soon as we have received and approved the returned product. If you have paid ‘on account’, you can deduct the credit note from the next invoice.

If you have paid for the returned item by iDEAL, the amount owed will automatically be credited to your account within 14 days of the issue of the credit note. 

How do I return my items?

1. Report the item to us with the return form. Your return request will be assessed by our sales department within two working days.

2. Once the return request has been accepted, you’ll receive an e-mail from us confirming the return with instructions. Attach this e-mail to your return shipment.

3. The return instructions will include an appointment with your representative to collect the return products from you. If it is not possible at that time and date, you may, in consultation, return the product to our freepost number. 

4. You will receive a credit note from us as soon as we have received the returned item. If you have paid ‘on account’, you can deduct the credit note from the next invoice.

What is your Return Policy?

Return terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to returning products:

  • If, on receipt, the product you have ordered has been visibly damaged, report it immediately on the packing slip on acceptance of the delivery, then report it to us and we will look for an appropriate solution.
  • Any other claim must be made known within eight days of delivery, after which it will be dealt with in accordance with the return terms and conditions.
  • If the product appears to be defective after it has been put to use, it will be replaced in accordance with the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s guarantee.
  • Specially ordered or manufactured products cannot be returned.
  • If the product is no longer in its original state (unscrewed or dismantled), the guarantee and the right of return will be automatically void.
  • If Nauta is not at fault for the reason for return (if it was ordered in error, for example), transport and handling costs will be charged (25% of the return amount or a minimum of € 15). In many cases, it may well be cheaper for you to retain the product.
  • If products such as safes and cabinets have to be collected by special transport, the return costs can be requested beforehand from the administration department.
  • Return the product in the original, unopened packaging free of any sticker or adhesive tape with, for example, your company name or logo.
  • The item must be returned within two months. Returning the item is always at the buyer’s risk. We can, of course, arrange transport for you at the rates applicable. 
  • Items returned without a confirmation of the return request or where the request has been refused will not be accepted and will be treated as if they had not been returned.
  • Goods can NEVER be given to the representative without the confirmation of the return request.
  • Other return terms and conditions apply to shipments outside of the Benelux and can be supplied by the administration department on request.
How long do I have to return an order?

You have eight days to let us know that you want to return an order. Once you have done so, you have 60 days to actually return it. In order to speed up the process, we advise you to return the order as soon as possible.

The wrong item has been sent. What should I do?

Even we can make a mistake, but that doesn’t change the fact that receiving the wrong item can be annoying. We will, however, do everything we can in consultation with you to put things right. Report the item to be returned to us with the return form. Your return request will then be assessed by our sales department within two working days.

Can I return a tailor-made product?

Unfortunately, specially ordered or manufactured products cannot be returned.

The product has been delivered defective, damaged or incomplete, what should I do?

If the product has been delivered defective or damaged, please read the instructions supplied with it first. In some cases, the product won’t be defective and the problem can be easily resolved.

If the problem isn’t resolved after reading the instructions, report the items to be returned with the return form. Your return request will then be assessed by our sales department within two working days.
