Nauta Group acquires majority stake in CaptureTech Products BV

We are pleased to inform you that, as from 1 January 2022, Nauta Group has acquired a majority interest in the CaptureTech Products BV division, producers of Key and Asset Management solutions. This creates a cross-pollination between the intelligent solutions of CaptureTech Products and the mechanical security products of Nauta Group.

About CaptureTech Products

CaptureTech Products BV, a division of CaptureTech from Nieuw-Vennep, produces electronic key management systems and intelligent lockers under the brand names of KeyConductor and CapLocker. The management, registration and issue of keys (KeyConductor) and valuable assets (CapLocker) are fully automated via a cloud-based software solution. The solutions are sold both nationally and internationally, including Europe, America, the Middle East and Australia.

Background

Nauta Group, manufacturer, wholesaler and specialist in hinges and locks, safes and storage equipment, has been a distribution partner of CaptureTech in the field of Key and Asset Management since 2015. The two parties have since worked together intensively, using each other’s qualities. According to Maarten Anderson, Director of CaptureTech Group, Nauta Group’s participating interest in CaptureTech Products is a logical choice from a strategic point of view.

Maarten Anderson: “Given our history, we deem Nauta Group a logical acquisition candidate of CaptureTech Products. The combination of product groups and the experience and knowledge within Nauta Group will create an enormous boost to these existing Key and Asset management solutions. We’re therefore very enthusiastic about the opportunities that have arisen and wish Wybe Jan (Director of Nauta Group), Hans (Director of Nauta Security Storage) and of course all their colleagues within Nauta Group every success with the further expansion.” CaptureTech Group continues to focus on its core business of IT solutions for logistics and IT services for the office.

The synergy between the two companies offers a great new dimension to existing activities. In addition to continuous optimisation and further development of existing solutions, new possibilities arise with the knowledge of the software development team of CaptureTech Products.
