Uncertified safes

As well as certified safes, we also offer a small selection of non-certified, burglar-resistant safes and storage, including our own brand Filex. These means of storage are in a lower price category and represent a good alternative for storing personal belongings or cash. They are often more compact and lighter and therefore more suitable for smaller spaces like in a wardrobe. It is, however, important that the safe is anchored in the wall or to the floor to prevent it from being removed easily.

The means of storage above have not been tested or certified by the European certification body, the ECBS, and do not offer the same protection and quality that you can expect from a safe that has been certified. If you want to store items in a safe that are of a particular value to you, we advise you to use a certified safe. With a certified safe you can also be sure that you will be covered by your insurance.

Master Lock fire-resistant private safes

Master Lock's fire-resistant private safes satisfy the UL72 US standard. The safes are tested for fire resistance and offer 60 to 120 minutes protection for paper and digital media.

Hotel safes

Our range also includes two hotel safes. These are safes that have a special electronic lock where the previously set user code is automatically erased once the safe door is opened again.
