Certified safes
Nauta specialises in the area of burglar and fire-resistant safes with clients not only in the Netherlands but all over the world. We supply, as a manufacturer and importer, safes that are exclusive to our brands Salvus and Sistec. In order to guarantee quality, our safes are manufactured in the most modern factories in Europe and tested and certified by ECB-S, the leading organisation for the certification of burglar and fire-resistant safes. All these safes are recognisable by the ECB-S certificate on the inside of the safe door. Certified safes are also accepted by insurance companies, so that you can be confident that, if there is damage or loss, the contents will be covered.
Burglar and fire-resistant safes
As well as burglar or fire-resistant safes, we also offer safes that are burglar AND fire-resistant. All of these safes have been subject to tests after which they can be divided into different classes of protection. Burglar resistant safes can be recognised by the EN 14450 (Security Level 1 & 2) and EN 1143-1 standards (Grade 0 to VII or higher). These resistance grades can also be expressed in terms of cash and valuables ratings. A term that insurers use to determine the contents of the safe and the cover that they offer for it. The higher the value given, the more burglar-resistant the safe is.
Certified fire-resistant safes satisfy the EN 1047-1 or EN 15659 standards. These safes are exposed to temperatures between and 1100℃ during testing. Safes that satisfy EN 1047-1 have also been subjected to an even more stringent test with a fall from 9.5 metres. The test has to show that the safe will remain intact after such a fall, if, for example, it should fall through a floor because a fire has broken out.
